When I heard that the NBA lockout was over, I rejoiced! That only meant that I would soon be getting my Heats tickets again! Regarding Heat tickets, I’ve gotten the same question over and over again from family, friends and people at work. The question being- Would heat tickets be easier to get now that the lockout is over? Of course, being the computer geek that I am, I did some research on the internet. However, the answers that I got were so varied. I’ve decided to display them here and let you decide which one you agree with!

 

1. There is no difference at all: Ticket sales post NBA lockout will always be the same. Since it will be the same fans and the same people who will be getting the tickets, then one should not expect the crowd to rise dramatically after the NBA lockout. That is just a false prediction that was probably started in the hope of selling even more game tickets!

2. Of course the will be a major difference in how ticket sales went. Fans should expect to have a more difficult time getting some Heats tickets. According to the NBA diehards, fans missed a lot of games during the time of the lockout. Even if you are the type of fan who normally does not watch basketball lives, the excitement of the NBA being back might sway you. Others will get tickets to watch just because the players themselves may be excited to play, and of course, that makes for great and exciting games.

3. It will be easier to get NBA tickets now compared to the time before the lockout- A lot of fans have supposedly expressed disappointment on how there was even a lockout in the first place. They feel that the players and the league were too greedy and only looked after their own interests. Now, they say that they will boycott watching the NBA altogether. If this is indeed true, then you can expect ticket sales to be less!
